The Massasoit Art Guild was established in 2001 by a small group of local artists who saw a need in our community. These cherished Founding Members were the beginning. Now at over 120 members, we strive to provide a community that supports and encourages the growth of artists at all levels in all mediums.
In addition to traditional painters, we have an active group of talented photographers who gather to share and learn from each other. The photographers group meets first Saturday of every month starting at 9:30 AM.
We have an Annual members judged show where art is shown and sold. We also strive to have demonstrations and workshops for members throughout the year as well as Open Studio on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to noon and the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays from 9:30 to noon at the studio in East Brookfield. If a night meeting is to be held it will be indicated in the monthly newsletter and here online. At Open Studio artists gather to work on projects, get critiques, advice and encouragement from one another.
We are a supportive group of artists and photographers who are always striving to improve our skills, while having a great time! We are artists who love artists!

From the East:
Route 9 West to Lake Lashaway Restaurant. Go down the hill. On the left will be a fire station and just beside it will be the driveway for the Lashaway Junior High Building (which is set back from the road)
From the West:
Route 9 East to Lake Lashaway. On the left there will be a Baptist Church at the beginning of the Lake. Across the street you can see Lashaway Junior High School Building (which is set back from the road behind the fire station.
