This workshop will include two guided projects and some play time!
Project 1. Make a monochromatic graphic print using stencils, masks & registration system. The Guild will provide stencils and masks.
Project 2. Use the registration system to make two coordinated prints.

Gelli Plate; 5”x7” or 8” x 10”

Acrylic paint: tubes have more pigment, but craft paints will work if that is what you have. Colors needed: one color for the monochromatic (best if it is transparent or semi- opaque) plus white or off white and black; other colors of your choice.

Paper to print on that is larger than your gellli plate, e.g., printer paper, drawing paper or book pages.

Baby wipes

Plastic palette knife and plate [ for mixing colors or removing too much paint ]

[ plastic cover from take out container works well ]

Painter’s tape or masking tape

Stencils if you have some, ideally at least 1 stencil with large openings should be bigger than your plate.

Texture makers, e.g., bubble wrap, corrugated packing material/cardboard, onion or fruit bag netting, bottle caps, foam stamps, combs, fabrics, etc.

Scrap paper, notebook or junk mail magazine to roll brayer on
